Atom Project
Your objective:
1.
Create an atom of
your choice. (The atom must be between
numbers 21 and 54 on the periodic table).
2.
The atom can be
either 2 dimensional or 3 dimensional (loose leaf paper is NOT acceptable).
You will be graded on:
1.
The accuracy of
your atom representation
(Does
your atom have a nucleus? Does the
nucleus contain the correct number of protons and neutrons? Have you correctly represented the positive
and negative charges of the protons and electrons? Does your atom have the correct number of
electron “shells?” Are the shells
represented correctly?)
2.
The neatness of
your project
You will be awarded
additional credit for the following:
1.
Creativity of
your project
2.
Difficulty of the
individual atom selected
